Independence looks different for each of our residents. Our goal is to continually adapt to help adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and their families achieve greater independence in a safe and loving environment.
Each resident or participant brings a unique set of circumstances and that’s why we develop individualized programs that focus on their own set of goals and abilities. Our staff is dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents through mindful training, education, vocational support and every day fun.
We intend to create a community of support that you can trust. We are moms and dads of young adults with IDD. We understand that it is scary to leave your loved one in the hands of others. We also understand the commitment it takes to provide compassionate support to not only our residents and visitors but to the entire family.
Emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual well-being will be embraced on a daily basis to promote independence and self-awareness. And we will be constantly reviewing our services to ensure we are providing a holistic support.
43°N provides a wide range of social, educational, employment, and leisure activities where residents can practice new skills, develop relationships and make new discoveries about their individual capabilities and potential.
Nothing comes before the safety of our residents. The 43°N staff make it their personal responsibility to know safety policies and reinforce positive, safe behaviors. We will have a highly trained staff member on-site 24/7.
Join us. Together we can find solutions. Each month we hold inclusive meetings for family members of individuals with disabilities.
